The first issued Certificate of Land Title in the Philippines was issued on June 23, 1921 to Culaman Company or the Hacienda San Miguel  which is now called the First Davao Farm in Malita, Davao del Sur. The sprawling farm once solely belong to the Cojuangcos is now partially owned by its employees. Presently, it is managed by our kababayan, Elmo Jumuwad. The photocopy of the document now hangs on the wall in his office.
