May 1st was the Araw ng NCO and it was highlighted with the staging of the Adventure Race organized by Kagrupo Outdoors and the Digos Active Mountaineers spearheaded by Cholo de la Pena. Among the eight teams that participated, four of whom are from Digos and four from Padada. It was an open race category competition, where each three members team faced with different task and challenges as they combed around the poblacion.

There was kite making/flying, husking of coconuts with bare hands or teeth, team walking with foot tied to each other. The messy part was blowing a mound of flour in search for some clue. Have you ever played dart using a papier-mâché airplane as your dart pin?... it will drain you patience!. Puzzle games and puzzle games with scavenger hunt of sort were also played.
Among the teams who vied for the race,  Team NoVices from Digos coveted first place, 2nd place went to BIKERS from Digos and 3rd was Navidad Team. The winning teams received Php 1,000.00, 750 and 500 respectively.
